could this be an infection?
hello i am currently taking my second cycle. 4 days ago i did my first injection of 250 mg test e into my quad. My first quad injection. MY problem is that it is still swollen and sore. Yesterday it started to get red but not around the injection site. The redness starts about a inch or so below the injection site. i have no feaver and feel great other than the soreness

I don't like the fact that it got red 4 days later. Overall sounds like VMS, but I would not brush this off - it is atypical.

u think i should get this checked out or just wait a couple more days and see what happens. the soreness is getting alot better just the redness and the swelling is whats bothering me

No one can make that decision for you - it is your life/health. All we can do is compare what you say with our own experiences in the hopes it helps you get some insight. I have never had redness appear that long after an injection, so that bothers me in what you report - but only you are in your skin and can really evaluate what it feels like.

wait it out...Based on what you say, that is absolutely nothing to worry about. If you get a fever or the swelling forms a well defined point. (a pocket of puss), go to the hospital. If not, youre fine. Most bodybuilders get cellulitous, which is taken care of with antibiotics....no big deal.

time inserting the pin,and keep it steady
the pain will be eaiser and easier to none.
You might exp this on the other quad also.

If you don't insert the pin 90% and it's at a slight angle, the redness can appear to be just under the injection site.

just slamming the plunger in and shooting quickly can also create problems, as you need to inject slowly. how fast/slow did you inject?

i do the actual injection slow and also push the plunger in slow. then massage the area for about 4 or 5 minutes. It was prob cuz it was the first quad injection. The guy i got the stuff from said that it was possible i hit something that gave the charly horse feel. he said it can happen once in a while
