Accutan dosage??

Is it enough to use 10mg accutan ed if you have acne from the steroids that isnt so bad but when tetracyklin dosent work i have most in the face.
How about the sideeffects at this dosage and how long should i eat them?

10mg aint enough, 1mg for every 2kg you weight, thats how much you should take, and if your prescribing accutane urself then go do some bloodwork and get tested for these first to make sure its safe for you

If you weigh 200 lbs, then thats 91 kg, which would be 45mg of accutane. IMO, that's a strong dose for acne that's relatively mild. You would definitely notice sideffects, especially chapped lips, peeling lips. 10mg seems low, since you already have the acne, I would start at 20 or 30mg and see how it goes. If its mild acne, that should be fine, unless you weigh like 300lbs. Even then, it might be enough. The key is just to take as little as possible to clear the acne and hopefully avoid sides. 20mg/ed is sufficient, not to exceed 40mg/ed...any higher and sides will by far outweigh benefits.

Remember that results may not be seen with accutane treatment for up to a couple months after you begin treatment as this powerful medication continues to exert its effects well after treatment is discontinued.

And as stated above, be sure you have them liver values monitored before, during, and after the treatment.
