No not necessarily, studies show now that genetics from your fathers side also can play a role in MPB....

actuallyi spoke with a friend today that said he has been under alot of stress, he has been lossing hair and his stomach hurts alot.. he thinks its the stress.

Stress can be a big factor in hair loss. Stress is different for everyone and can cause hairloss in some while not in others. If he gets a control on the stress he should be ok. If not then it could be something else.

Stress can cause a lot of problems. Once you get the stress under control you should start feeling better. And if the hair still isn't starting to grow than you may want to look into some finasteride or dutasteride.
