Long post cycle still not recovered!

Not sure where to post this exactly but heres my scenario.
Atleast a year ago I finished my 2nd cycle ever. First cycle was 500mg a week of sustanon and I had insane gains, felt better than I ever have in my life and came off with a 100% proper pct. Most recent cycle which ended over a year ago was Test E however I foolishly (imo) did about 700mg a week for that cycle, seen little gains due to ***ression and lackluster training. Still I came off properly.

During my time on both cycles I noticed pretty substantial Hair loss. After a few weeks of coming off, it stopped. Now I naturally have a pretty high hairline, but due to the major acceleration I experienced due to those cycles, its not a noticably "receding hairline" Needless to say, not good for the man-ego! lol. anyhow, this plays into my real question, so bear with me...

Ever since ive been off, I have lost my sex drive.. nearly 100%. And no, im not exaggerating. To boot, I can barely get, or sustain an erection. I mean I understand cycles shut you down, but I think it may have had a more profound effect on me than some? Its very troubling because A) flat and simple I dont feel like a man should feel with no libido whatsoever and B) for my girlfriend I feel horrible because she feels completely unwanted. Put it this way, I'm 24 years old, in pretty damn good shape. and we have sex at MOST twice in a month. Even when im rubbing one out to a super hot porn star I can rarely get it up fully. Embarrassing to say the least but I'm sick of living like this hence why im posting and hopefully getting to a doc.

The sex drive/potency issue, coupled with low energy and ***ression.. I'm fairly confident I have low testosterone .. maybe predesposed, maybe broughten on by a few cycles. Is this possible/sound likely?

Now lets say i DO after some blood tests from my physician. Lets say he puts me on test... I have a few questions. A) will the hair loss start again? cause thats a damn unfair tradeoff IMO! Is there something I can take to be on test and not lose any hair? B) What are the side effects of HRT/long term test use? Obviously it wont be some super-dose like 750mg weekly but will I be setting myself up for a wasted liver or thickened arteries by 45 or death/cancer by 50? Another not so appealing tradeoff!!

Basically looking for some suggestions, advice, experiences, thoughts etc?

    Klepp,

I would definatly see your doc and get some bloodwork done. That needs to be the first step in my opinion. I've had it take up to 3 months to recover from a cycle, but nothing as bad as what you are experience. Best of luck.

    yep, see the doc..

I did run MyogenX as a pct.. it really helped with the "libedo" desire to have sex, and thus really fixed up my attitude.. but with what you describe.. i'd go with see a doc..

See a doc for sure. I had all the symptoms you had AND REAL BAD for years!! It finally got bad enough that i went to see a doctor. I was certain it was low test levels from past cycles. turns out it was, in the doctors own words, "the worst case of hypothyroidism he has ever seen". On T4 now and I feel great. Good luck bro. Blood work for sure.

awesome, that seals the deal then! I just dont want to get laughed at or turned away due to my age. Thats just the thing, i understand how young I am and that it SHOULDNT be like this hence the reason I want to fix it before it ruins the rest of my younger portion of life. perhaps that level of test just shut me down alot worse than most i guess. Who knows. Any thoughts on the hair loss? will hrt cause it to accelerate again? Thinking of seeing a dermo to find out what they can do about the hair as well seeing as I'm so young.

Hey again guys, sorry for bumping this but I have a quick question!
I'll be setting up an appointment for better or worse next week w/ my PCP.

First and foremost, with my insurance I have to be referred to anyone other than my PCP by my PCP (specialists etc)

Who should I ask him to refer me to? ie: what type of specialist?

Second, if he does the bloodwork, what am i asking him to look for in particular? Ive heard some test only "test levels" and not "free test" or "estro" I know something is wrong and I want to make sure nothing is overlooked because im to the point I would give anything in the world to feel like I did just a few short years ago.

    Thanks again folks!
