need some advice before basketball game
im playing basketball after a long time. i kinda suck but the main thing that kills me is i get tired way to quick. last time half way through the game i was literally out of gas i had to take many breaks. Is there anything i can take before the game that will keep me in the zone and keep me from getting tired. the next game is in 2 weeks. I know i should start doing cardio everyday in the morning will that have a negative impact on my weight. I am also trying to gain weight at the same time. I was thinking of taking albutrol, and adderall before the game and have gatorade with dextrose during the game. other than that keep doing cardio everyday for 30-45 mins? any other suggestions..... thanks guys

Of course basketball does not need the help of steriods in any way since its all basically cardio and skill, i would suggest to fuctional cardio not done on machines in the gym, IE, doing sprints across a football field as fast as you can once you reach the other side walk back and do it over again repeat 5 times, run up stairs back down stairs, i think running on the tread mill or any other piece of cardio equipment wont give you the cardio endurance your looking for!

Try this: Full court sprints AKA sixes.
Sprint full court, baseline to baseline, 3 times. For a total of 6 lengths of the court. Rest for 30 seconds and then repeat the drill. Do 3 drills. Set a goal of what you want to run each six in. Ie 32 seconds.
This is a must-have exercise for anyone that plays ball. The drill will get you in basketball shape for sure.
Throw that into your training regimen and see how much it helps.

my 2 pence worth
I read re training for boxing that you should' train the way you fight and fight the way you train'
In other words your training should accuratley mimmick what going to be done on court. I suppose something like 20 yard dashes [attacking]interspersed with jogging [getting back into position]and agility work. this list is by no means exhaustive but you get the piture work out what you are doing on the court and drill drill drill.
I also remember a particular supplement that will increase your VO2 max essentially how efficiently you use oxygen and thus increase stamina. apparently long distance cyclists use it [ a long way from bodybuilding] to maximise there performance. It a reputable UK company, i will try and post the name and brand for you.

I don't condone drug use (YEAH RIGHT!!!) . I would think the adderall would give you enough "gas" to make it through the game. For Christ's sake, it's SPEED!! You don't get much more "gas" than that. Using adderall all the time is a slippery slope, mate. Be careful.
