size needle for injection into quad

just a quick question, on my next cycle the gear im going to be using requires multiple shots per. week more than i did before, and previously i just shot in my glute's switching sides every week, now im going to be moving from glute to quad everyweek, and wondering the length of needle recomended, my quads are pretty big, and ive already got 23g needles that at 1.25 inch's long wouldnt these be to long or are they good to go??

i would go with 1" 25 gauge

I use 5/8" 25g on my quads. I even go as small as 1/2" 27g on tris and delts.

However, I never put more than 1ml in any one spot.

So if you are doing more than that, you may have to go deeper.

ramblin freak said it how i would. I injected 1" 25 guage last night for the first time into quad with success.. :] no issues.... I also injected 2.25ml's Here is the link to the thread I started with my questions....

1" 22 or 25g is best.

You could go with a 1 1/2" and not push it in all the way.
That way if it the pin breaks off, you could easily pull it out.

hey!!! ??? lol don't scare me, my first quad inject was last night as well..... BREAKS OFF???? why would it break off? if the quad tensed up and broke the pin? dang I sure hope that isn't too common.... also i imagine it's very painful and would need to go to the ER to get that taken care of...

They all hurt for me in the quads...but if I was to try it again I'd do 1" 23 or 25 depending on thickness of oil.

I also use 25G 1" for quads no pain at all. Its the only place I inject.
