2 week orals for athletic recovery (newbie)

Hello everyone, hypothetical question from a newbie here.

If someone was to go to Japan for two weeks and to do constant daily grappling (Judo & BJJ) they would probably get very tired and worn out during that time. If that person was able to obtain some sort of oral steroids , and eat them for the 2 weeks, would that make a difference, to help his joints stay healthy and muscles recover more quickly from all the effort? This person isn't a bodybuilder, just a grappling athlete, and doesn't want to use needles.

Thanks very much for your advice!

ps. I'm sure proper purpose-specific pills would be ideal, but i even came across an odd post somewhere on this forum that said "I remember being in Japan around 2000 and one of those Yakult-type drinks that are sold at the pharmacy over the counter had 5 mgs. of methyltestosterone as one of the ingedients. So I don't think steroids are tightly controlled or regulated.

My liver hurts just thinking about that. Methyl testosterone is an OTC in many Asian countries as an ED remedy."

thanks you magic32. Its not the answer I was hoping for, but I suppose it'll save money at least :-)

I guess in this situation the best bet is to focus on plenty of sleep, protein, fishoil and glucosamine.
