Rule of thumb (a basis; not definitive):

Take the upper limit of the half-life (HL) and multiply it by 6, the number of HLs a drug typically experiences, then add one more for the "terminal" (last) HL.

Var's HL 8-12hrs:
12 x 6 = 72 + 12 = 84 or approx. 3.5 days.

If you're referring to the term "half-life" it's the time it takes for 50% of a drug to evacuate the body. It's then followed by reoccurring half-lives each of which degrade the remainder by an additional 50%, i.e. 25%, 12.5%, 6.25%, 3. 13%, etc. For more on this, see my signature.

Wow dude no offense but i think you just need to read a lot on these boards before starting. Even though var is a mild compound, it seems as though you dont know much.

Dont take this as me knockin you but i was in the same boat as you before and just spent literally a year on this board just reading post after post after post. Trust me, you'll pick up on it its not that hard.

From experience, you will get the same types of responses from others on here.

To put it short, diet is going to define how much weight you will gain. I have seen people gain pounds on var and then i have seen people gain a pound or two while leaning up. And yes, without a proper PCT, you will lose what you gain (although var is good in this department).

thank you your right i do need to read more iread alot but not enough ther were people saying the gained 5 to 10 pounds in 2 months and like you said people who never gained much at all, i only want to gain 10 pounds anywayand not lose my carido
