diet and lifting during pct
O.k. guys my 12 wk cycle of test is almost over so i will be running some tamox/exemestane as my pct. how long should i run this? and i have read many different things about the diet and the lifting. some say to lower the amount of weights being used some say stay the same or lift more. I also read some state to drop the calories and some increase, so whats the proper protocol while on pct? what kiind of diet/lifting should i be doing to maintain most of my gains?thanks

Keep calories high, keep the weight high but use less volume.

Just keep lifting how your lifting. You will probably loose some strength during PCT due to having low test levels as well as a lot of water weight being cut (estrogen does help with strength gains but during PCT you want to keep estrogen down and bring your test back up) Keep your diet up like you are right now, dont change it. If you are getting fat then cut back a bit on the calories during PCT but keep the protein intake high. No drinking during PCT either because its counterproductive to what your trying to do (trust me i learned the hard way). You may also loose your libido as some due. I find that taking an OTC test boosting supplement ON TOP of your normal PCT helps keep my libido up.

what would you recommend as a good libido booster. I've tried myogenx and that worked a little, anything else you could recommend? thanks

i thought that hcg should only be used during cycle not during pct.

Tongkat is supposed to be realy good stuff, honestly have never tried it. The ONLY one i have tried is Tbomb ll and that stuff (mix of many natural testosterone boosters....avena sativa, tribulus, tongkat, etc......) really did feel as if I was back on test, so I try to incorporate it into my PCT's. I think im going to give tongkat a try next time tho.

In my experience you keep more strength by trying to lift the same weight you did while on cycle... you'll probably need to cut volume back... pay attention to what your body is telling you so you won't overtrain. it's going to be different for everyone.
and definitely continue to eat a shit load of protein... your body is catabolic so it needs all the help you can give it by the food you eat.

I dont think this is an age related thing, it comes down to your Test levels and when you need to start adding andogenous Test to build them up to a level that makes you feel like you are 20 :-) This is all determined by a blood Test. You need to look at Test levels as well as Estrogen as they go hand in hand, I see to many people around here forgetting about Estrogen.

If the way u lifted during the cycle worked then keep doing it through the PCT and a lil bit after. If u did a heavy bulk, dont rush n try 2 cut even a month after PCT I(a lot may disagree with me) dont think that muscle has become "permanant" yet.
