Can Someone Explain To Me What Dht Is Please.
Someone Has Stated I May Be Suffering From It But Typically They Didn't Explain It To Me.

^^That hasn't explained what dht is.
That only explained what dht-derived steroids do.

avodart commercial "swelling and tenderness of the breasts may occur..."
When I saw that I was like "rather piss every 5 minutes, thanks."
DHT is an androgen.
5α-Dihydrotestosterone (DHT),is the (biologically active) 5α-reductase reduced metabolite of testosterone.
i.e. Testosterone is reduced to DHT by enzymatic process.
DHT is 3 times more androgenic than testosterone...and has high activity at the the testes, prostate gland, and hair follicles.
The latter two sites are of specific relevance here... because generally when someone claims to be 'suffering from dht-related side effects' they're generally referring to the exacerbation of male pattern baldness...or prostate enlargement (although arguably, prostate enlargement may or may not be directly related to DHT).
You should've asked the individual who told you u were possibly being afflicted by DHT to explain themselves.

Well, since you didn't explain it neither, I guess I'll give it a try.
Some testosterone (both natural and injected) will convert to dht. This can cause unwanted sides such as hair loss and enlarged prostate.
Here is a quote from your other thread that raised the dht question
I think he is wrong. Your bloating and acne was more likely to have come from increased estrogen since testosterone also turns into estrogen via the aromatase enzyme.i think most of the acne is from your huge bump in dht. if you take dutasteride (avodart) you could probably minimize the acne and any potential hair loss

lol.
I'd never leave a thread hanging.
