Eq w/ Antibiotics?
I have just been prescribed antibiotics, I am not sure which kind. I need to take them for 20 days or so. I am also taking 400mg of EQ a week. Will there be any interaction, or will there be a decrease in effectiveness. While I am sure there is nothing to worry about, I would rather be on the safe side and ask the experts.
Thanks
Ty

I'd just play it safe and get off the AS for now. Not sure if it would hurt to stay on while taking your meds but why risk it?

Tystick,
Are you taking the EQ alone or are you staking it with something else?

I don't see why it should be a problem. Maybe with orals because of absorption issues etc. Or unless you had liver/kidney dysfunction, but you should be fine. Let me know which antibiotic you are taking. If you are taking orals you might consider holding them, but the EQ should not be a problem.

There won't be a problem. I had to go on while on a Cyp Eq winny cycle and I told the Dr. about it and he said i would have no effect...
