    Exclamation Proscar (finasteride) question

I was looking around for different generics of Fin and ran across Proscar but i cant really find any info on what the typical dose they come in? Is Proscar reputable? compairable to Doc prescribed Fin? It is very reasonably priced compaired to others ive found.
I plan on ordering tonight so any info on generics would be great!!!!
    Thanks

Proscar has the same active ingredient Finasteride as Propecia. The only difference is that proscar is 5mg and propecia is 1mg. I would purchase I pill cutter and break the proscar into 4 parts. That means you are only taking 1.25mg.

Be aware that Propecia does not prevent frontal hairline hair loss, and there are potential sexual side effects.

    Good luck.

Propecia/Proscar DOES PREVENT frontal hairline hair loss. In my case, it not only stopped it, but regrew a significant amount of hair and covered my receding hairline very well.

Proscar was the original drug given to men that had been treated for prostrate cancer. Some of the men noticed their hair growing back after going on Proscar treatment. After further tests they found this drug can help hair to grow back and they made the same pill but in 1/5th the strength; which was all that was needed to grow hair. Proscar is as reputable as it gets as it is the actual medicine that the benefit was made aware from.

Yes and viagra etc. The thing is after taking propecia for 3 months I didn't have interest in sex. I had to force myself to want it. Propecia also raises estrogen by about 15% (it blocks DHT which is anti-estrogen) so my muscles look softer.
