Androgel Half Life Time

I tried searching, but couldn't find the answer.

What is the half -life for Androgel or a Testosterone Transdermal cream?

Where is the Half Life thread?

Once it makes its way through the skin and into the bloodstream, it should only be a few hours, as it is essentially just test base.

so you are saying the "half-life" is only a few hours? So in theory, and just to pick a number, if 10mg were delivered, then in say, 2 hours, 5mg would be still free, then 2 more hours later, 2.5mg would still be free....?

...and would making (please ignore the "how" piece right now, just assume I know how to do it) and would making a transdermal from something other than base, such as decanoate, or enanthate , or propionate make any difference in the half life? (Maybe I should start a new thread on this?)

Yeah, but it wouldn't absorb, since the molecular weight would be too high with the added ester.

that could be true. I could be thinking about this all wrong. I could transdermal multiple times a day and not worry about half life impact due to esters. For example, I could transdermal 1/3 a daily dose 3x a day, and since test base has a half life of several hours, problem solved.

dam! my edit failed. What I initially mentioned was that if anyone was interested in how it works out, you can contact me for details. I'll be keeping a weekly journal, but no blood work this time. I'll be starting first week of july and transdermal 100mg per day until my 10 grams is used up.
