Will Anavar help to rebuild muscle that has been atrophied for several years?

any steroid will help rebuild muscle that has atrophied... however i advise you try to do that naturally buy a good diet and workout... before trying any steroids ... you would risk some tendon injury from the additional new stress of the muscle mass building from the steroids... JMO

Agreed! After taking an extended break myself, my physique and strength has come back quickly. A lot faster than I ever hoped for.

I have tried the conventional methods. Working out only gets me so far, and due to the extent of the original injury, I am not able to do a lot of the exercises at full strength. I have been doing the exercise route for 1yr and haven't been able to get that muscle back. The only muscle that has really shown any improvement would be the quad. There is still a 1.5 inch difference in my thigh muscles. If anyone has any other suggestions, I am all ears!!! Thanx!

Have u been consuming enough protein? that sounds like a diet problem.... what was the original injury? did it actually cut out some muscle fibers? or did ur muscles just shrink from not moving ur arm or something?.... anyways... try gettin ur diet on, mass protein shakes, and such.... theres good bulking diets in that forum...

I have had two knee surgeries. The first surgery was 5yrs ago and the last one was 1yr ago. I have had a lateral release and a reconstruction of the ligaments. There is currently a titanium screw holding everything in place. I was told that I would never be able to run or be as active as I was, but that is not acceptable to me. I tried a few different diets with the exercise, but I am just not getting the results that I would like. Don't get me wrong, the rest of my body is in shape, it just seems as though the muscles in my upper leg are not rebuilding/responding to anything. I don't think any muscle fibers were cut, I know some of the nerves were cut and my ligaments are made of doner skin graphs, but that shouldn't affect my muscles. How long does it generally take to rebuild atrophied muscle after 6yrs?
