Test your bodyfat, that tends to be the best indicator.

The increase in adipose tissue is associated with an increase in the enzyme aromatase that converts testosterone to estradiol and leads to diminished testosterone levels that favor the preferential deposition of visceral fat (Medical Hypotheses , Volume 56 , Issue 6 , Pages 702 - 708, P. Cohen)

Factors known to increase aromatase activity include age, obesity, insulin , gonadotropins, and alcohol. Aromatase activity is decreased by prolactin, AMH, and smoking. Aromatase activity appears to be enhanced in certain estrogen-dependent local tissue next to breast tissue, endometrial cancer, endometriosis, and uterine fibroids. (wikipedia.org/aromatase)

    Morbid obesity is associated with increased estradiol production as a result of aromatase-dependent conversion of testosterone to estradiol.(Diabetes, Obesity & Metabolism. 7(3):211-215, May 2005. de Boer, H. 1; Verschoor, L. 1; Ruinemans-Koerts, J. 2; Jansen, M. 3)
