Oral insulin
It is still in the study phase, so no way that it has hit the black market....

But if it works, it will be more convenient to ppl that use it, b/c, let' face it injecting is an obstacle... ppl see you 'shooting up' or carrying syringes and they assume all sorts of sh*t and none of it is good..

I just hope it doesn't go the way of the inhaler.

I was referring to Pfizer's Exubera which was discontinued almost immediately after introduction.

Exubera was discontinued for no other reason than poor sales. Reps had half my office loaded with patient educational materials, DVDs, booklets, dummy inhalers, and prescription stampers. and suddenly it was all garbage.
IMO, it was too complicated to use properly for many people and even confusing in terms of how to prescribe the proper dose. In addition, it was contra-indicated for people with any respiratory disorder and required spirometry prior to use and periodically.

Yeah I was bummed when I heard that.
Hopefully this one the OP mentioned won't suffer the same fate.

Why the hell are people seeing you inject.......I take my insulin at the gym, and nobody sees me do it......Go into a tolet stall.......
Have enough respect for others that do not engaged in such activities, to not use in front of them.....You might as well shout it everytime you come in the gym, I USE STEROIDS !!!!!!
