    How can i lower my cortisi

    doc says i have high cortisol how do i lower that?

    First, why don't you ask the doc? What was the value? Did he/she do any other blood and urine tests on you, because you might have something more serious going on.

    Work out, do cardio at least 3 times a week, get a full night's sleep, cut out alcohol, take up meditation, improve your diet - more whole grains, less processed food, fresh vegetables, fish, mediterranean style diet - those things ought to help.

    But I'm curious to know the answers to the questions I posed. Follow up please.

    Cortisol is greatly affected by your level of stress....stress is probably the GREATEST factor....so anything you can do to lessen your stress you should try.
