Just saw this video on youtube on how to draw from an ampule:

It says that a needle with a filter should be used, because glass particles may fall into the ampule when it is opened. Comments on this? How many actually do this?

Rubbish, iv'e been crushing the tops of amps for years, you will never get a piece of glass broken from an amp small enough to travel up a needle, if that was possible i'd be dead from a multitude of infections.
Another thought, iv'e never witnessed it being done by any of the med profession either.

I agree with Lats.....the chances of glass being sucked up by the needle, and then making its way into our body is slim to none.....
