BMI = 27.5
BMR = 7925 kj / 1894 cal
IMPEDANCE = 425
FAT % = 13.1%

I wonder what the impedance means? I know what it means in electronics, but im lost on that.

Impedance
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Impedance may refer to:
* the ratio of the voltage phasor to the electric current phasor, as in
o Electrical impedance, a measure of opposition to time-varying electric current in an electric circuit.
o Characteristic impedance, a measure of opposition to electric current propagation in a transmission line.
* Impedance matching and Impedance mismatch.
* Vacuum impedance, a universal constant.
* Electromagnetic impedance, a constant related to electromagnetic wave propagation in a medium.
* Mechanical impedance, a measure of opposition to motion of a structure subjected to a force.
* Acoustic impedance, a constant related to the propagation of sound waves in an acoustic medium.
* Linear response function, a general way to represent the input-output characteristics of a system.
* Object-relational impedance mismatch, difficulties encountered when a relational database management system is in an object-oriented programming language.

Taken on 9/9/2008
AGE = 38
Height = 6 FOOT
WEIGHT = 191.2 LBS
BMI = 27.5
BMR = 7925 kj / 1894 cal
IMPEDANCE = 425
FAT % = 13.1%
FAT MASS = 25.01 LBS
FFM = 166.21LBS
TBW = 121.61 LBS
Taken on 9/17/2008
AGE = 38
Height = 6 FOOT
WEIGHT = 185.0 LBS
BMI = 26.2
BMR = 7794 kj / 1863 cal
IMPEDANCE = 448
FAT % = 12.5
FAT MASS = 23.21 LBS
FFM = 161.81LBS
TBW = 118.41 LBS
Can someone please help me understand what happened. Looks like I lost about some fat weight .. buthte total of that doesn't reconcile to the total weight loss. WHAT did I loos with the fat ?Last edited by jeepers; 09-17-2008 at 01:31 PM.

Impedance probably has to do with determining his bf percentage.
You know those bf testers where you hold the metal grips. I would imagine those are testing the impedance (which is the reciprocal of the conductivity) through you body.
Obviously fat and lean mass have different conductivity
