How high to bump test cyp?
47 y/o
6'0
218lbs
bf 17%, down from 28% 7 weeks ago, 3 lb total weight loss
HGH: 5 IUs ED x 5 d, 2 off
test cyp: 300 mg per wk
HCG : 500 mcg x 2 d prior to test
I don't want to "cycle" yet, but bumped up my HGH over 12 wks from 2 IUs to 5, once I got on a killer diet plan.
I bumped the test up just a bit because I felt I had stagnated at 200 mg/wk.
My question is, can I still go up on the test cyp and receive benefit of strength and mass gains, without being too high dosage, since I'm still early in the nutrition and exercise routine?
Or am I better off to just stay where I'm at for a while on both?
If I stagnate again (which I'm feeling is happening--not as huge a sex drive, erections no longer able to punch holes in sheet rock, energy level mediocre to low again), do I just have to live with it, or will a bump help?

technically, both, since my test was low. But started at the HRT dosages.

if you up it to anything beyond 300 you're going to be in 'cycle' territory.
when do you plan on doing cycle doses, or do you plan on doing them at all?

I think I would like to, test and something else, not sure yet. No time line for when, as I think it best to get the optimal benefits from nutrition before considering any cycles, and I've a ways to go there yet.
Thanks--I'll keep it at 300 mg for now. Bummer, though, as I liked that increase in libido and energy from the increases of test...

No, it's 3lbs over 6-8 wks. There is likely a margin of error in the bf measurements, but not an enormous one. Likely a component of fluid on board as well, as I have a bit of peripheral edema in the lower legs from increasing the HGH, and there may be a bit of aromatization from the test. I started a completely different lifting program than what I had been doing, under a consultation, and have seen pretty cool changes in a short time, so I think that is a factor as well.
I'm definitely not claiming to have gained 22 lbs of lean mass in 6-8 wks, but I don't think 10 lbs would be out of the question.

seems this thread went abit south..............................
For longterm use I would stay at or below 300mg./week, thats plenty to stay very fit and healthy. You still have 2-3 more years you must pay the piper at this dose to really get the results I think your looking for. Try not to rush things quality muscle takes time.
