This is the place to get the up to the minute news about AAS. the books are most of the time out of date or from some point of view other than pure research.
BUMP for book suggestions

WAR and Physical Enhancement With An Edge are good books giving details on steroid effects, different kinds, and what not for steroid users. 'Anabolic Steroids in Sports and Exercise' is a good non-biased, more medical-tinged angled look at steroids , with studies of effects and what not.
Theres plenty more out there, but these are the only names I can recall offhand. Muscle Mag International stores carry a good selection of books like this, or else I'm sure you can order them from somewhere. I have never checked the library, but I somehow doubt they carry them
*edit* WAR=World Anabolic Review 1996, forgot I used the acronym.

Samoth is right about "Anabolic Steroids in Sport and Exercise", it is a great read. You can get it at Barnes & Noble. The author is Charles Yesalis. "Anabolic Edge" and " Musclemag International's Anabolic Primer" are also worth reading through, and they aren't too expensive.
