Got seizure letter

I got a seizure letter about 2 weeks ago saying that the gear was confiscated, yesterday I received it. Does that happen normally? It made my day when the package came in

you sure your gear is legit? they have to test it after they seize it and then obviously "destroy" it after its identified as a controlled substance. short of that...i find it bizarre!

Ummm...so you got a letter saying the package was siezed then the full package came 2 weeks later? Did the sez letter have the inventory listed on it?

No that doesn't normally happen

Doesn't matter, they confiscate fake gear just as much as real.

That is not SOP.

Once your package is seized the letter you received would list the reasons for seizure
and the remedies available to you.

You would then have the option to challenge the seizure, but this would be fought out
through administrative and possibly judicial venues over a period of time.

I would be very suspicious about this.

^^^thats still risky though, that means he still recieved it and had it in his posession......i have gotten THREE seizure letters when i first tried to order gear, the box came with green tape with "US customs" written on it and all i got in the box was letters stating it was destroyed and blah blah blah.....i agree with PT writing return to sender on it if you still recieved it, makes me nervous thinking you still got it :S

No, I didn't have him resend. I was thinking about sending him the letter now and telling him I never got it, but I figured Karma will take effect and don't want to screw him over.

yup,,

thnk im on like 7 seizure letters now. prb just got lucky they screwed up and instead of putting it aside for disposal it got back in the outbox.

I wouldn't accept that package, and I wouldn't ask him to resend. People send gear to their home adress all the time, sometimes po box is more suspicious. You could always return to sender tell your source it's coming back then let him resend it maybe...

Does US customs notify the sender of the package if what they send gets seized?

If so then maybe your supplier found out and resent

Or maybe the government was just generous and let it go through

Or maybe they made an error

Or maybe they are getting ready to come down on you with the hammer

dude relax...your asking to many unnecessary questions...the amount of gear is not in question here...what is in question is the legitimacy of the siezure notification and the delivery of his package...my question is...did the siezure letter ask you to come claim your package with a detailed list of what was inside...? which would mean it was a real letter...

the return addy never leads back to the sender so he would of never known unless the thread starter were to send him a copy of the letter

He accepted it, he responsible no matter if he has it in his possesion. Thats why if you have a PO box and the post master comes out and ask you to sign you walk away. its all about the signature.
