What is with "Anabolics 2006" cycles?
I think all the "Beginner" cycles are advised against using testostorone as their base of the cycle.
What is up with all giving out a book and advising to use many drugs without a testostorone base? It seems to me that most the people on this board are against this.
I will list a couple of these supposed cycles, for beginners:
1. Deca (for 8 weeks..) and dbol
2. Andriol and Primobolan
3. Proviron , deca, winstrol
4. Anavar , primo
5. Tren , winstrol
6. Tren, test, deca
7. Eq, test
What you think?

I don't know who wrote the book but it could be the case of someone that never really used themselves and just got book smart and wrote a book. I have seen a couple other books and info that is similiar to that. Makes me wonder what people are thinking

Haha ive read through that same book and when i looked at the cycles I was laughing my ass off. I cant say how many in the few short months ive been on AR that ive seen the "winstrol /deca " cycle written in that book. Some of the info in there i would say is outdated. I use it primarily for the drug profiles even if suggested dosing as outlined by the book is generally on the low side.
Of all the cycles you just listed id only run 6,and 7. For obvious reasons.

as stated that book is nice as a reference for drug profiles and all the pretty pictures but i wont be planning my next cycle out of it.
honestly save your money. all the info you could use is right here on this forum. more comprehensive then your gonna find in any book. you also get the benefit of personal experiences from other members.

I don't know of any good books yet. I honestly would love to spend a good year or 2 and write one myself. With all the info in this forum you could put together an amazing book. The only book people have ever said was good was anabolics books but I can see they aren't even the best.

That would be much needed, a quality book on steroids !
There are very detailed information of all kinds of things in this book, much of it seems good and accurate, but the cycle information is crap!

some of those are old school stand bys - now not considered a good idea (ie - deca / dball & prov / deca/ winny) - some are very mild (var / primobolan ) - some look good on paper (tren /winny ) . Then theres andriol - well id never use it . The last 2 (6 &7) may not be bad - but i dont like them for a first cycle. You may have noticed llewellyn is a big primobolan fan - i personally think its too expensive and not that productive - but it is prob the mildest steroid as far as toxicity and side effects - so he prob likes it for a first cycle recommendation. The bottom line as someone pointed out - you can come up with text book theories why this cycle and that one would be good - but in the real world it doesnt always work out that way.
