GYNO SURGERY...for those who have had it

i read a good post about it and sounds like anywhere from 2-6 weeks is average for being out of the gym...

i'm having the surgery on the 26th of this month and wanna know how many days it took to recover enough to go back to work and hit the gym...basically your experience with the surgery...

I plan on having it or did anyway toward the end of summer. My last cycle though, seemed to have made my gyno tolerable for some reason.

From what I understand, it all depends on the extent of the surgry. Some guys have been out of the gym 2 weeks and had a simple in office procedure done.

Some are out 8 weeks or more, in a operating room.

I wish there was more information out there, but I think a lot of it pertains to a case by case situatioun.

k this is what i am going to tell you. you need to take 14 days off from your surgery becuase the stitches or whatever they use do not dissolve till 14 days you do no want to risk tearing anything. I personally was able to hit everything almost 100% on day 14 my friend had it done and needed 6 weeks. It just depends on how you feel. plus if your pushing it wile our healing like lifting things or whatever you may make it more soar and take longer to heal. you can def do cardio after about 7 days or so.

depending on your blood type the doc or the book"eat right for your type" can tell you about certain vitamins and supplements that heal you in no time..that book is a boon trust me..i got my 3 year long sinus cleared only by altering my food suggested in that book

I took two weeks off from the gym and 3 off from chest training. Everthing was fine. I took it easy at first and made sure I was "pulling" on that area.

so had the surgery yesterday and it went extremely well. no pain at all so far. havent taken the bandages off yet cause dr said wait 48 hours. i'm nervous to see what it looks like but i know in the end i'll be happy.

definitely worth it, just hopin to get back to the gym soon. dr said 2-6 weeks depending on how i heal but with no pain i'm hoping that i'll it'll be more like 2 weeks.

I ask the users who have made this surgery if they can upload some close up pics of the remaining scar. I have some gyno too and i would like to go for surgery but im really concerned about the scar that remains under my niples. I dont want people to ask me why i have scars on my nips.

Your nipples are going to look "dark", mine are right now, the place where the scar is on the bottom of ur nipple will def look darker. Its just part of life go with the flow and just tell people you had a crazy girlfriend who got tooo rough with ur nipples one time and that happened.........lol

Did anyone get the whole gland removed? Would like to see pics of someone who has had this done... I would like the surgery but it would only be worth the money for me if I could cycle some test afterwards with no worries.

i had the surgery but they didnt cut the gland out, i was able to lift like a couple days later, that was last year. now 2 weeks ago out of nowhere i got lumps in both nips again, and some good solid ones. i mite go back to the doctor and tell him cut the whole gland out. last time he told me if i cuts the whole thing it will look like an ashtray. also it didn't cost me anything. health insurance picked it up. i told them breast cancer runs strong in my family and it was irritating.
