Nolvadex question

I have a friend starting a test e only cycle but i didn't know how to answer his question. He has nolvadex for his pct but he was wondering if he should take it DURING his cycle as well or only after. And if he should take it during at what dosage should he do so. I wanted to ask people who know about it since i have little knowledge about all this.

i'm not sure about his stats but he's skinny. his BF should be pretty low. but he's taking 400mg a week of test e. he splits it up into two shots of 200mg. one monday, one thursday

this is what he just gave me:
26 years old
5"8'
153lbs
doesn't know BF
first cycle
know he has to take nolvadex starting a week after last test injection (but is confused since someone told him he has to take it during cycle as well). he IS gyno prone.
has been weight training for about 3 years on and off but right now he's been doing it for about 1 year non-stop.

Tell him not to cycle. his BW is really low. He needs to get his diet in check. Please go to the diet section.

i would do at least 10mgs during a test cycle. I know some people don't like to do higher doses because it may inhibit gains. I am not that gyno prone but 10mgs for me throughout the cycle works well & stops the nipple sensitivity. After cycle & during pct I bump the nolvadex to 20mgs along w/ clomid. you have to see what works as you go along

thanks everybody. i didn't wanna give him bad advice since i got some bad ones in the past and ended up doing a tren a and wintrol only cycle which i now know is a stupid thing to do. i've been adjusting my diet and doing extra cardio and got better results than i did with that cycle. i'm lucky i had no libido problems. but anyway i just wanted to male sure i told him the right thing. i've tried telling him not to cycle and to try gaining weight just eating first but he won't listen so if he's gonna do it anyways i wanted him to at least do it the right way. thanks again guys
