Never heard of an amp opener... most just score the ring on it with a file first.

This is the reasoning i hate amp.....

Grab a knife, clean it with an alcohol swab, clean the thin part of the neck of the amp with a swab, saw at it for a little bit, grab a kleenex, wrap it around the amp, apply pressure to it slowly till it breaks. Voila

...scribing a line and then opening with the cap from an ink pen also works. If the amp has a dot on the neck, try to break opposite from the dot.

Scoring it is the best i guess. I'd rather do without than to mess with em anymore.

There very easy to open . And much harder to fake.

I used a scalpel to cut a line around the neck. I would always wrap a wash clothe around the amp to pop the neck. This way if the amp breaks in you had it will not get cut into pieces.

A sharp knife will work
A metal file
Go to a hobby store and they will have a cutting tool that resembles a scalpel. You'll get a clean break every time.

Amps are pretty easy to open.

Mine come with a dot and a score on the same side. For them I point the dot away from myself, grab the bottom of the amp with one hand, put my thumb of the other had on the neck (opposite the score/dot) and and index finger on the top (of the side with the dot). Push with your thumb while pulling with your index finger and the top will pop off easily.

It is easier to fake a HG vial than a HG amp. And anyone would know this. And for someone of you intelligence to argue this. Its just ridiculous.

I just put the amp in my right hand and pop the top off with my thumb. Never needed any utensils.

It doesn't matter if it's easier to make. HG products are often in amps, not vials, and almost all fakes are of HG products, not UGL. Trust me, jigga is right.

Go to the hardware and pick up a small,sharp file. Use this to lightly score the necks of the amps,,,then they just snap off easily.

I take a used syringe pull the plunger out and needle so just the barrel is left and clean it out good with alcohol. I place the large end of the syringe over the amp after wiping that down with an alcohol wipe place the big part of the syringe just above the break line and just snap it off its never failed me. I never use a file or score anything if you are worried about glass just wrap the bottom half in paper towel to protect your hands.
