Lump on face

A friend of mine is on a test cycle and hes developed a lump under his eye. When I asked him about it he said that the last time he was on a cycle he got it as well and had to have it take off at hospital and now hes on another cycle its come back again. It seems its to do with the achne you can get but grows into a big lump instead. Is it a common problem where you can develop lumps in this way? is there anything you can take to help reduce the effects? He said he went to the docs and ended up in an arguement because they didnt agree with steroids .

just one lump in the same place or is it cystic acne?

He said he gets the acne bad but the lump is in exactly the same place.

Is it a cyst? or like a tumor?

I didnt have a close look but looked like an over grown spot right under his eye. He said it was just starting though and I didnt know him when he had it before but from what he was saying it must get quite big, especially for him to have to have it removed.
