Then get new members to find answers to a list of certain questions in the Educational Threads before they can start posting on their own.
I bet if it is done in such a way that it leads them in the right directions, lets say to a section or a thread new users will learn how to search for the answers before they get to the point of asking.
It could cover something like the 5-10 most FAQ made by new members and after that they could not ask them because they should have picked up the info when registering.
A "test" to speak of, that takes only few minutes is not going to keep people from becoming a member IMO, well not unless they are so lazy they would have been a menace anyway.

i didn't do any researching and i could tell i pissed some of you off at first lol, i think that if the majority of educational threads and those first 4 questions should be a must.
