About the comments about not being a little kit. At 18 you can't even buy a beer, go to a club, or go anywhere that real adults can hang out. At 18 you've never worked in the real world and/or had to support yourself or a family so you're still a kid.

That's a bad choice of words because the U.S. does not "LET THEIR SOLDIERS DIE" in any way shape or form. That being said our Military is 100%voluntary so the heroes that join the Armed Forces do it by choice and know they can be put in harms way. I agree that it's a shame that a soldier that returns from combat that is under 21 is unable to legally drink a beer...
