    Multiple steroid scripts

I have two scripts of test. cyp. from two different docs. Has anyone tried to fill two separate scripts and if so please tell me the do's and don'ts. Concerns I have are: How well do pharmacies communicate with each other and docs? Use insurance on one and not the other? Who else is watching dea, fda, state?
I would of course use separate pharmacies! Is this something that I should try or just stay away from?

your fine, just go to two seperate pharms. If your doc asks for all your other medical information and you signed off on them,, they may see that you are using another doc
oh and you may wanna pay cash for one

Seen the same thing done with pain meds.

Fill one at your regular pharm and use insurance to pay. Take the second script to a pharm you don't normally use and tell them you don't have insurance... Pay cash for it.

If you try to use insurance to pay for both at the same time it will be flagged.

Thanx. I would just like to know if the authorities (dea, fda, or state) keeps their own log of who recieves what and how much? Do they monitor this? Especially Class III drugs!!!

Tell that to the insurance company who insured me and my wife before she was fired. She filled 3 perscriptions for pain meds a week for months on end...... no one said a word to her! Wish they would have.....

I would be careful and def pay cash for the second one. There are laws for this now, one I know of is Doc shopping which is a felony. Just a note of caution
