opinion on a first cycle
I have finally taken the plunge to do my first cycle, talking with members on a few other forums, but this one is insane. Wow.
Stats:
24 yo
220 lbs
6" tall
Clean and Jerk- 182.5 kg
Snatch 140 ish
BSQ- 240 kg
FSQ- 190 kg
Bench- Who cares? haha
Diet- can't lift at my level and not eat! I eat a lot and good quality food.
Ive been a competitive olympic weightlifter for 7 years, finally ditched competition when i got into med school here in Canada. I currently train 10 times a week (6 olympic, 4 traditional body building), and Ive taken up squash so I try and play 4-5 times a week. As you can tell I still put fitness quite high in my priorities, and I really would like to keep those big weights going up. Other background, I have a BSc kineisiology with focus on biomechanics and exercise physiology and I was a personal trainer for a couple years. Thats about it.
So This was my plan (after some mods from other sources-- thanks guys!):
Week 1-10- test e 250 mg every third day with a front load in wk 1
week 1-5- dianabol 50 mg qd
Week 1-10- 20 mg aromasin qd
Nolva on hand
Following the Anthony Roberts PCT
All gear is on hand now, I'm waiting to start at the beginning of december (I still have one last competition to finish).
What I was wondering about was the timing of the dianabol (weeks 1-5 or 5-10) and other general comments. I know the physiology of these products very well, but i lack experience in this application and dosing. I'm not planning on doing another cycle for a while so I figured I'd hit it hard, and hopefully I wont have to consult my buds in endocrinology... haha.
Insight? thanks in advance

You're over 500 mgs a week, that's high for a first cycle.
Dbol is used the first month as a kickstart and is useless in weeks 5-10
why front load if you are gonna kick with dbol?

Ya stick to 500mgs a week and no need to front load especially your first cycle!!!! You need to see how your body reacts to the drugs.

Drop the Dbol , and dont use a frontload. Stick with 500mg a week of the Test. Just take it easy on your first cycle.
Get some blood work done before and after cycle.

K, ill drop it down to 500 mg (every 3.5 days?). Is the dose on the dbol ok? I have some friends that found it really worked well, but the dose they used (50 mg) seemed high. I think the pills are 50 mg.

Every 3.5 days might get confusing. Even one shot every 4 days sgould be fine on a first cycle. That still makes for aout 450mg p/w.

No need to frontload on your first cycle, personally i'd drop the dbol and just run the 500mgs of test and see how you go, make sure your diet is in order and you have all your PCT compounds to hand.

My training in a nutshell:
I've had the same bulgarian coach since I was 15. We started at 4x per week of a solid periodized 4 wk program (classical olympic style). As I worked my way up in my career that went up and up in order to elicit the same training response and adaptation and make bigger weights go up. In the last year of my career I would train AM/PM 6 days a week (never on sunday). The russians found that up to 75% of recovery happens within the first 8 hours after a session, so with proper self care and nutrition we could make use of this to maximize training gains. To contrast the Chinese team trains 5x per day small sessions, I think they do this everyday but I may be mistaken. The russians and other eastern blockers train similar to me. My coach tells me every weight I'll lift and as such the programs produce very little interference. Now that being said currently I've dropped down to a 6x per week (1900 rep or so 83% average intensity- pulls out) program (still classic olympic, with a russian squat aspect just for this cycle!). So seeing as though I'm already quite adapted to training so often I exploit this by doing 4 classic auxiliary (bodybuilding) workouts a week, with heavy emphasis on core strength, and I play squash a bunch for some cardio.
This has all been going on since I started med school (programs switch every 3 mos) and I've been making decent progress.
That was a little long winded but hopefully my point came across.
As far as my PCT goes I have 10k IU of HCG , 100 tabs of 20 mg aromasin , and a bottle of nolvadex . I'm quite fond of the anthony roberts PCT. The physiology is very sound (wherever he took it from) and the conclusions are very valid. Its the most comprehensive one I've seen. 3 weeks worth of subq injections is kinda bunk, but my nuts are worth it, hahaha.
Do others not like it?
