Gear wont work with higher bf%'s???
Hey guys, just read on another bb forum a guy going on about steroids will not work for bulking if u have a higher percentage body fat say around 17 or 18 percent... He said that u will just grow new fat cells and the gear wont help u grow muscle.. Just want too know everyones opinions on this, personally i think its stupid.. Becuasw what if u started a cycle on 15 and put on fat half way thru bulk cycle, its not like ull stop building muscle mass... Inputs??

the higher your body fat when you cycle, the more chances you have of estrogen related sides, blood pressure issues, etc.
sounds like someone heard you shouldn't cycle at high bf, but didn't know why so they guessed. good call asking here, we'll give you a straight answer.

Ummmm really. gear shouldnt be ran at a high bf % because it increases risks of sides.
EDIT.
big beat me to it. LMAO

you should be fine.... if your around 15%. Do a clean bulk... Dirty bulk will only yield a higher bf % obviously.

You need to give yourself time to recover from your first cycle( especially 16 weeks long) before you think about starting a cutting cycle. Tren is not to be fooled around with if your thinking about using it to bridge to your second cycle its highly advised you dont. Do more research its apparent you are under educated(for your own safety) like we all once were.

Not another HIGH BF% Thread.. I am gonna keep my mouth shut on this one... I have said my piece 20-30 times before.. so if curious on what I have to say on the issue.. do a search...
I will just say one thing.. YOU THINK ALL WORLD CLASS POWERLIFTERS AND STRONGMEN are UNDER 15%?? No they aren't. Do you risk more sides being in a higher BF%? Yes!! But it is my belief that if you focus on keeping your diet clean !! Then there wont be any issues whatsoever.. IMHO !!

Interesting debate.
Low BF VS High BF.
I know how Deuce feels about this.
I will go as far as to say that we say 15% on the forum for safety reasons.
There are other issues also to take into account.
I do know fat loves estrogen and estrogen loves fat.
Best

I don't want to say that I agree with Deuce.....
But...when I started training many years ago (late 80s), most guys I knew were bulking on a cylce with well over 17-18 % BF. It was considered the way to bulk back then.

On cycle - over 18% BF - Growing bigger and stronger everyday!
BP did go up a little, and i got ichy / sore nips.
Test E and Dbol kick.

Agreed.
But if one were to control those sides, I dont think its a problem. AAS will increase LBM and FFM. Whilst reduciing ones bodyfat %, training or not it seems.
Testosterone stimulates catecholamine-induced lipolysis by increasing the number of β-adrenoceptors as well as the activity of adenylate cyclase.
But if your bodyfat is above 15-18%, I highly doubt your diet is on point, unless you need the added mass? (I'm thinking wrestling, strongman, powerlifters etc...) In that case you shouldnt have any business using AAS in the first place.
Again, if your in the high %, I doubt your training is on point either.
I think alot of members assume because someones bodyfat is above average for a bodybuilder in the offseason, there diet and training are off track. But thats not always the case is it.
