Crohn's disease..
Hi everyone, I have Crohn's disease, which is similar to IBS for those who do not know, and I have been researching steroid use for patients with Crohn's and I cannot find any information. What I would like to know is if anyone has any knowledge as to Anabolic steroid use would have any diffrent negative effects on me because I have Crohn's or not.. Any info would be great thanks

Crohn’s disease is an inflammatory bowel disease(IBS), the general name for diseases that cause swelling in the intestines. Crohn’s disease can affect any area of the GI tract, from the mouth to the anus, but it most commonly affects the lower part of the small intestine, called the ileum. The swelling extends deep into the lining of the affected organ. The swelling can cause pain and can make the intestines empty frequently, resulting in diarrhea.
I have been in remission from my Crohn's for over 2 years, and I am wondering if steroid use would effect me diffrently because of it.

i have crohn's also and just finished my first cycle... there was no adverse effects although i wasnt taking a huge amount, just 1ml of 2 types once a week.
the only thing i noticed was that with ceoliac, crohns or IBS, you are more suseptible to skin irritations, and therefore sweat and acne issues... my recommendation is to not wax, shave or do any hair removal during or at least 6 weeks after cycle. unless oyu want BAD acne!
i think it all comes down to what you are taking and such... my response to the juice was beneficial to my intestinal sitch... made me pay even more attention to my diet, and what i needed to do not only for the inside but the outside!
if you have a gastro specialist, maybe ask them confidentially... i doubt there is anything that would be a bad effect for you, but you cant be too safe.
I wouldnt OD on the stuff either... when you have our sitch, any excesses of any kind are bad

I have UC and I know others on the board suffer from UC and Crohns. Ive had no negative side effects from AAS. I can't handle oral steroids have to use injectables, but have no problem with the oral ancillaries such as nolva/adex/cabergoline, etc.

I have u/c also for about 4 years. I've run 4 cycles with test as the base with no adverse effects. I have not had a flare-up since I started cycling 3 years ago. Don't know if there is a correlation or not.

Yup.I have it.
I blogged my diet for Chrones, as you can check it out sometime.
My chrones gets better on gear, but can't figure out exactly why.
Auto immune disease like these, seem to change drastically in myself.
I believe that there should be a study done on this.
Could lead the doctor's down a new path that so far has not been explored.
Who would have believed that mold on cheese would save so many lives?
