You can have a toxic reaction from to much protein.

I always eat more carbs then protein, timing on your carbs is most important i'd say.

Breakfast + Pre-workout + Post-Workout + Post-Post Workout is when you get all your carbs.

Filling protein in with your carb and fat gaps only goes so far....The more your weigh its almost impossible to keep your protein intake so damn high, the cost would kill anyone.

You look at people like Dante Trudel or other DC trainees, eat 2g per lb of body weight (500+g a day for most of those monsters) and they aint dropping like flies from kidney or liver damage. A lot of them there have done so since the 90's. Damn this protein/fat/carb is such a hot topic with so many arguments...

I think the consensus has to be we need all 3.. We can agree on that much. The rest, well, moderation my boys. Eat a pound of peanut butter? Maybe not but balance/moderation, everything having its place, defo

You need nothing else and can substitute different meats and nuts for the above if you want. Want to be huge AND cut? NO carbs.....period. That is seriously old school thinking. They dont even provide the energy that was always claimed. I eat next to no carbs and can probably outlift most people. Total BS. Carbs are the enemy.

don't agree with this but has some merit. I suppose for an endomorph or anyone with a slow metabolism carbs could be seen as the enemy and protien and fats could take precedence over carbs. But for ecto/meso's with fast metabolisms carbs are important for growth. as c-z said above especially if you've got an active job and trying to squeeze in the gym to, you notice the difference upping your carbs

carbs are the key to making big gains!!!! healthy fats are key to burning fat your body needs them. protein is extremely important but to much can be a reverse effect on your body. plus do serious damage on your inside organs. if you have dbouts go to a nutritionist they are cheap enough and very worth it. must will set you up with a complete diet and help you monitor it for around $250
