this post question is actually for a male friend who needs to take off some pounds and I think he needs testosterone period. He wants to try hcg first and I am trying to convince him that test will lessen his depression and help with lean mass and help with his energy so then he will work out more and feel better. so---I was curious if starting with the hcg might help him jump start the fat loss until he finds a doc who will prescribe the testosterone----thanks for asking

HCG for fatloss is controversial..... HRT doc's are prescribing it for fatloss along with a 500 calorie diet. No thats not a typo..... a 500 calorie diet..... LOL. ANYONE will lose weight taking in only 500 calories......

IMO - your friend needs bloodwork done to see if his testosterone levels are low. If he cycles test because he's depressed - he'll really fall into a depression when he hits PCT.

In the mean time..... he needs to suck it up - get his ass off the couch - and do some cardio and weight training. Sometimes just working out can pull someone out of depression.....
