    Bursted a blood vessal in my eye

    hey guys, anyone else had this before?
    i know some causes are high blood pressure and strain

    its not painfull and probably happened doing deadlifts or sumthing like that
    i think it takes a few weeks to go away

    any other guys had this issue and did it reoccur

    It happens. Not a problem unless it causes sight issues. If it's blood pressure related you should get your eye pressure checked also. I get mine doen 3x a year due to 5 surgeries on my right eye from a piece of metal going THROUGH the eye when I was 10. I have a Lens and Cornea replacement.

    Get your pressure tested if you think there might be a problem. They have drops to control the pressure.

    ouch that sounds painfull! yeah if it doesnt go away or keeps happening ill get it looked at! thanks anyone else? im surprise all the pro's dont have them all the time and all over there eyes!! haha

    Not at all, I never felt any pain or at least nothing more than if you had a small piece of dirt in your eye.

    Even the surgeries I never had any pain during or after.

    i had a blood vessel bust ofter doing deads once, it wasnt really painful and cleared up in a bout a week

    Happened to me once doing deadlifts and once squating. Doesn't hurt at all and will go away in a couple weeks. Not a big deal aside from having to deal with people asking you what happened? does it hurt? yadayadayada. Looks like hell though I know! Doesn't seem to re-occur in any regular fashion. The 2 times it happened to me were years apart and hasn't happened in to me in 10 years and I am currently lifting heavier than I ever have.....so I have no idea what triggers it.
