Possible damage to HPTA from running dbol @ a young age?
I'm trying to pinpoint the cause of my low test..
I have a feeling that it was the dbol I took 10 years ago when I was young (20)..
It's hard to remember but I believe I was doing a 'pyramid' cycle (hey it was common back then) for maybe 6 weeks?
Of course I took no PCT, I know the dbol was real as I was definitely retaining water and I remember an increase in strength and slight aggression (gym determination style aggression).
I'm curious, could this be the culprit of my testosterone deficiency?

Yes we need your levels now in order to further assist you.

Well saliva levels differ from blood test levels (I took two tests) but basically my level is 21 and normal range is 44-148
They gave a chart that shows where you are as far as test levels, I have the test of a 12yr old boy or an 80yr old man.
I took two tests from two different labs.

dbol is the last thing you took 10 years ago? are you on anything else or any other medications?
As far as I know Saliva tests can only measure free testosterone levels not total testosterone . you need to test serum levels before making any conclusions. In my opinion your results are not accurate.

I took anavar about.. 8 months ago for only 3 weeks (started to get some bad backpumps so I stopped).
I am not taking anything else and have not taken anything else.
Shouldn't my free test be higher than what it is though? I mean I can see being in the low end of my range but I'm literally off the chart (in a bad way).

Also for what it's worth, I do not get morning wood (haven't for years), I generally only masturbate every other day. When I have sex, I have no sexual desire for 2-3 days after.
I feel that my erections are no where near as hard as they were years ago. I remember waking up with such a hardon if I didn't bend over to piss I'd end up pissing in my face in the morning!
I'm only 30yrs old.

It is possible but I would say unlikely. The trouble is as said above your results may not be accurate and you may have suffered low test levels before the dbol cycle. First thing I would do is not panic! Worrying about how hard your wood is will only make things worse in your head. Get accurate tests done you need to find out your free test levels and then go from there
good luck

All of my issues happened way before I ever touched anavar and got no worse after I took it. I took 50mg a day for 3wks and yes I ran PCT. Felt no change in libido/sex drive.

^^^
Then it is probably related to your past experience but that anavar cycle surely did not help you lol.
You should stay away from aas until you figure out the problem.
Get a complete blood work and in case see an endo but with papers on hand.

To be honest I thought what I was experiencing was normal. Don't get me wrong, by boy 'always shows up' for the party. I've never had an issue where I couldn't get an erection, even if I wasn't particularly in the mood.
I really feel the same after the anavar, but I think it's pretty obvious that I need some sort of HRT. I am displaying many symptoms of low test aside from my test results.
At this point I want to just feel more 'normal'..
Thanks for the help BJ! Unfortunately I do not have insurance at the moment, and a blood test costs about $400 :/

It could really be anything but i wouldnt count out the dbol only cycle. Did you start noticing the issues recently or have they been going on for years?

Dbol isn't very suppressive, compared to most injectables. I wouldn't blame it on the little Dbol cycle. These things just happen with age.
