Mixxing AAS with...
This post will probably catch some heat but here it is. I was wondering what AAS I could mix with my meds. I asked my Dr. he did not know. His advice (after a 10 min. lecture) was to find out from people who know more about AAS than he did. So I decided to ask you guys. I know there are some very educated people here and it couldn't hurt to ask. So I'm on 300mg a day of Litium xr, 10mg of Lexapro, and 10 mg of Compazine. I know that Lithium is a harsh drug on its own. If there is nothing that I can do on my meds, so be it. I will have to change some goals. I need the meds more than the AAS.

Not sure how much advice you'll get here but I've been on Lithium and a cycle. I had no issues. That isn't to say you won't, though. Never had any experience with the other two.

I'm not going to be on until the end of October, but thanks for the advice. I guess I can just play it by ear. I will have do things with a short ester so if I have issues I can come off quick.

I wouldn't necassarily say that Lithium is a harsh drug...

It makes me sick as a dog for a couple weeks. Pretty harsh to me. That' s a lot of wasted food. Vomiting is hard for people like us who need every gram of food we eat.

Are you taking it regularly for generalized anxiety? If you are I'd quit taking it. If you are taking it only periodically for something like Panic disorder then nevermind. I only assumed that you were taking it regularly because you said, "makes me sick for a couple of weeks."

I'm taking it everday for bipolar disorder. I was on something else but the dr. changed my meds recently. I have taken it before. For the first 2 weeks to a month it is pretty hard on my body. After a while i get used to it and the sides level out.

Did it help you initially? Does it help you now? For how long?
I might be getting off topic, but I only ask because Benzos generally quit working as an anti-anxiety agent fairly quickly, and then users begin to need to take it just to feel what they call normal.

I was just recently put on it. I just feel tired all the damn time like someone set me on slow motion. Not liking it but I have to be medicated to salvage my mariage. It doesn't seem to be working yet but the doc said it will take a few weeks.

If you've just started treatment for bipolar disorder, taking AAS would be a horrible idea.

Nailed it. Especially if you are working through issues with your spouse.
Lexapro is an antidepressant. Compazine is used for anti-anxiety, as an anti-psychotic, and also to treat severe nausea. Lithium is typically used to level you out if you are bi-polar. That's quite the cocktail of prescription meds. I don't think the solution to your problem is to add another compound like a steroid into the mix. Additional hormones in your body could easily skew your balance and make your prescriptions not perform as intended.
Let us also not forget that though the steroids were blamed for Taylor Hooten's suicide; he was also taking Lexapro at the same time. One of the side effects of steroids is not suicidal tendencies, but it is a possible side effect for any antidepressant. Did the combination make the side effect of the Lexapro manifest? Can't say for sure. Would I risk it? Hell no.
Get your issues sorted, see if getting off some of those meds over the long term is possible, and then return to considering steroids. Being big and strong is great, but if you don't have your health, both mental and physical, everything else is a waste.

Like I said it will be late October before I start. I am also very open to the idea of not using aas if that is what is needed. I'm not really working through issues with my spouse. I can see how hard it is for her dealing with a bipolar husband so I decided to get help. She never said anything I just don't think it's fair to her to have to deal with my ass.
Thank you for the honest advice. Juicing probably isn't in the cards for me for a while.

its def. person specific cause im on lexapro and didnt have any issues and never even contemplated the thought of suicide, so its kinda hard to advise on this, but if the drugs had been recently changed i wouldnt recommend it, especially with bipolar.

Bro, you need to give it some time. 2-5% of the population has some form of bi-polar, it's no where in the top 50 of reasons people are in the ER, neither is AAS use. I've been on quite the "cocktail" of meds since 2003, I've cycled several times, been on hgh and started trt. Let the meds do their job, working out helps tremendously and DO NOT DRINK ALCOHOL. Alcohol will F*ck up your meds effectiveness faster than anything. Once you feel more balanced, by that I mean depression, mania and impulse control must all be under control, then get bloodwork and determine how you may want to manipulate testosterone and use other aas to achieve your goals.
From experience do it slowly, patiently and one compound at a time/per cycle so you know exactly how your body responds. I work with people everyday who have this and other conditions, feel free to PM me if you have more specific questions.

Iv'e been taking Lithium 450 ER for 6 months and I cant even tell that I take it.. I have been working out with a trainer for a few months and decided its time to try a cycle for the first time in my life, im gonna take Tren and test 250 I havent done it yet because I too am a little nervous cause of the Lithium, my trainer wants me to start tomorrow. What do you think? I cant ask a doctor cause we know what theyll say and I talked to a pharmacist about just abrubtly stopping the Lithium he said it was a bad idea and to talk to a doc so I pretty much got nowhwere. What should I do? I feel pretty stable on or off the lithium, I just did it for my wife to make her feel better cause she says Im moody. Im just nervous... any feedback????

Bro, the AAS can have an effect on your mood. especially the first couple of weeks while you are adjusting. You can get some anxiety etc... That being said you can do an experiment, I would start with orals or short esters, this way if it does not agree with you its out of your system in a couple of days. I cant tell you anything else about your meds. You should research it, just because another person taking the drug on AAS is ok, it does not mean it wont effect you.
