10 wk 500mg pw cycle or 12 wk 400mg cycle?
hey there, ive been a member of these forums for a while now gathering info on all things steroidal (is that a word?)
now i have finally got my gear (yay!) and i was planning on starting on a 500mg per week 12 week test e cycle...
but the vials i got are 10ml, 250mg per ml, so 2500mg per vial, so i purchased 2 vials leaving me with 5000mg's, short of the 6000mg i needed for the 12 week 500mg cycle.
so the question is what would be more benificial for a beginner? a slightly higher dose for 10weeks? (500mg per week for 10 weeks) or a slightly lower dose for 12 weeks? (400mg for 12 weeks)
now i have all my pct in place and am currently working on my diet plan etc etc. so no "you dont know what your doing" posts, because i do! i just appreciate the wealth of knowledge on these forums and was wondering your opinions.
any further info you require ill be happy to provide.

Don't forget that you lose some gear in the needle each time you pin.

yeah i realise that thats why i was leaning towards the 400mg 12 weeks cycle, because that would leave me with 200mg's spare for such a variance.
anyone else?
also how hard will it be for me to reliably get 200mg's in a pin when the concentration is 250mg's per ml, ie how easy is it to draw 4/5ths of a mls in a 3ml pin?Last edited by BBronco; 09-14-2010 at 11:00 PM.

Your gonna get varying opinions on how long to cycle and how much, most here will probably recommend 500mg pw 12 week is standard beginner cycle,
It's been said here a lot that gains start to taper after 8 weeks and test e being a long ester there will be test present in your body for 2weeks after injection. That being said the choose is personal choice, I believe you will happy either way providing diet and training are solid.
For you second question it would be easier to draw up the 250mg and then just push some back into the vial, or buy enough to cover your needs

Id run it for less time and recover that bit quicker, thats just me tho

Since it's your first I would go with lower. More does not always = bigger gains, it's all body dependent and less this time means you have more room to go up next time.
Good you have your PCT in place. Dont start until AFTER you have your diet worked out. Honestly your diet should be in place months before working out. It's not just an on cycle thing. Keep it clean and good all year around or you will be on a roller coaster and Im sure you dont want to just loose the gains you are working for.

Height: 193cm (about 6'2-3ish)
Weight: 225 in pounds off season, about 210 in season (allot of cardio)
training: 4 years now
Bf: Now i havnt been measured by calipers recently, but my gf who is a personal trainer and does caliper measurements everyday rekons im about 10%
yeah i am going to have my diet fully in place well before i start the cycle, i just wanted to secure the gear first so i knew i could get it (no point buying pins and pct only to find i cant source any gear)
i like the idea of the 10wk cycle as it will fit in well with my holidays, but do not want to end up short due to those small wastages everytime i pin. how much of a concern is this? will it matter if my last injection is short 200mg due to wastage?
