    delt infection?

i injected prop @ 170mg on friday on my left delt.

it felt sore when i woke up but i thought nothing of it and yesterday it was still nagging be but ive had pain from injections before.

Now today its red and splotchy and warmer to the touch than the rest of me.

Its nothing to terrible but i did have a buddy unknowingly slap me in the delt today which i didnt feel great and didnt make it better.

    infection?

should i start iduprofin or go to doc for anti-biotics? if i go to doc i will tell them it was a b12 inject gone wrong.

Argg.. i didnt want to go to the doc cause they think im a hypochondriac with severe anxiety already. But i think this is a legitimate reason.

Ive got some anti-biotics around here somewhere. Should i start a regiment on them or just is the consensus still "**** it, go to doc"?

My first cycle when injecting prop 150mg, I would get similar symptoms on my delt, it lasted 3-4 sometimes 5 days, but would go away.

Apply heat as often as possible, along with Preperation H, I don't think it's an infection.

But if it lasts longer then a week and gets considerably worse I would check with a doc

Ill grab a heating pad and start that. Prep H on my arm? Its not really inflammed at the moment but i guess it could get worse. I may toss in an ibuprofin just in case and wait another day then.

And ill go ahead and pin tonight. hopefully i wont get the same result in glutes

it's hard saying at this stage. If you get a fever, redness gets worse, site becomes warmer to the touch, and red streaks begin to appear to and from the site. Then I'd say go see a doc for antibiotics.

I think its safe to wait a few days and track the symptoms.

I notice after all my test injection the site is warmer to the touch for a couple days or so with minor redness, but it always subsides...

Prop gave me the same thing everytime I pinned no matter where I started adding B12 to help massage the crap out of it helps but still got the reddness or rash and even got test flu a few times,, Advil, heating blanket always worked , its a bitch that is why I switched to Enan still hurts but dont get as many rashes

If you are getting unbearable pain from the prop every injection, you can mix it with Sterile Grape Seed Oil, it will eliminate the pain about 90%.

PM if you need a site to get it from.

I also mentioned the Prep H, sometimes my injection sites would swell up and get red, I kind of thought it's similar to a hemorrhoid. So I had some prep H laying around and started applying it after the heating pad, and it actually helped the swelling.

    Following up...

I'm pretty sure its going away. Its no longer red but still a little hot but no pain.

I did a quad shot yesterday and it feels a little sore today but no bigge. From what I have heard about prop pain this is overall painless.

Thanks jbarron I may just suck it up and deal with it haha. Were your prop injections painful?

Get a new doctor, mate. **** him in the arse dry if he gives you a hard time about coming in when you think something is medically wrong He's probably bought a yacht off of all your visits and he is giving you shit about coming in. A deep abscess is no ****ing joke - go get it checked out now!!

Agree dont' medicate yourself with antibiotics If you dont' do it right your infection could come back later and be resistant to antibiotics. My first few injections of t450 which had prop in the blend did the same thing i had a red blotch on my skin over my delt that probably hung around for 3-5 days

ok well today(5th day after delt shot) there is no more redness, i cannot recreate the pain with any type of arm movement, the area is slightly tender but only when i press down on it.

so if i wake up tomorrow and its still like this should i be worried..?

i wasnt worried at first but now u guys r making me think twice

I wouldn't worry much anymore..... could have been a reaction from a couple different things. Also..... sometimes I get bad pain if I don't inject deep enough into my delt.
