this dude from my gym telling me that u get 100% of juice when u inject into quads 50% of ur juice when u inject in your ass and 70 % when u inject into delts. hmmm i dont get this.. what makes it diffrent???? all i know is quads delts and gulet muslces are large muscle groups and deep too. once u inject the drug is in the muscle. so can some1 explain to me how hes right??? or how hes not??

Well, he's wrong. In truth, the only difference between the injection sites is the rate of absorption. There is a steady release from the glutes. Studies have shown that other injection sites do not provide as slow of a release.

Some people get ideas about things and/or hear opinions about things, then they forget that the ideas and opinions are not facts. They spend the rest of thier lives repeating things that have no base in fact.

Next time you see him tell him that you did research and found that he was off a bit. Then tell him the absorbtion rate when shot into the quad is actually 105%. Say it with a straight face then walk away. Hopefully he'll repeat that to someone and reveal himself as the idiot that he is.

I agree he is wrong in terms of the phsiology of muscle depot injections. However, remember that there is a lot of fat around the gluteus (not mine of course)

When some immunization studies were done it was found that deltoid injections produced more immunity than gluteal. This is now believed to be due to poor injection technique resulting in some medication being left in the fat tissue, from where it is inconsistently absorbed. Perhaps he is confusing these two related but seperate issues.

I recall reading somewhere that different sites can have different absorption rates. Lage muscles like glutes have a longer absorbtion time wheras deltoid depots are absorbed more quicky. I thought it sounded like it made some sense. If you're interested let me know and I will try and dig up the source.
