Yes that was the point. I didn't mention any sources at all or ask for any. The overall idea was don't buy anything from any site regardless of it's nature, whether it's electronics or gear, if they take CC through an insecure connection, i.e. not https:// (maybe that's where the confusion was? It was a blank address to demonstrate the syntax)

Not sure what source you're referring to, but there may have been some confusion. What may have looked like an active web address was actually just null demonstrating the secure server syntax of an https connection, hence all the x's.

Aye, I think I know where this thread went wrong, as I posted above. I suppose a busy admin/mod browsing numerous posts a day looks once, and categorizes for deletion. No biggy. I was just trying to give back a little, and hopefully more in the future. I'm still new
