    Basal metabolic rate and HRT

Just had my basal metabolic rate (BMR) measured using bodygem = 2490 calories up from 1900 a year ago. Just started HRT in September 2010; 200 mg/week test cyp; 2 units HGH per day; 500 units HCG twice per week; 100 mgs DHEA per day. Could the HRT have such a profound effect on my BMR? 55 year old, male, 6'1"; 225 pounds; 15% body fat. 4 to 6 hours per week of aerobic exercise with full body strength training (free weights) 2 to 3 days per week.

Anybody know if this is possible or are the bodygem results questionable?! Thanks!

Wouldn't doubt it, increased Testosterone levels means more protein synthesis and protein synthesis requires a lot of energy.
