six weeks into my cycle, happy with the size i have, can i start a cut?

Hey guys i am 6 weeks into my testp cycle, i have two and a bit vials left, have been doing 125mgs EoD,
the thing is, i am happy with my size, i want to cut down, i have my armidex lined up for pct, and i am thinking of going on a keto diet at 2200 cals.

    i am 6.2
    at 97 kgs (213 pound)
i would say a good 6-7 kgs is pure water weight
but i bulked up good from 78 kgs ( 171)

So the true question really is, would there be a downside to starting my cut now?

Personally I would wait until after pct and your body has recovered. Your body needs those extra calories to help hold onto the gains while recovering. Once recovered start the cut. Just my .02

atm i am eating at 4000 cals

with 250 grams of protein , 140 grams of fat and the rest is filled with carbs
the thing is i use to be 319 two years ago and did a masive one year long cut all the way down to 171. Obviously i gained some fat and factor in water weight, but before cycle i was dunbell chest pressing 22 kgs, now im doing 35 kgs easy, 2 plat squats 3 plate deads.

As for the original question and the answers to the question , thanks for that input i will maintain my bulk but perhaps slow it down and ease down my cals?

Because i plan to do a 6 week clen cycle while on pct.

You're putting on a shitload of fat, dude.
    Clean up your diet.
It was a mistake to jump in cycle so soon after coming back from obesity. You should have built a good natural base and learned how to eat. This also would have given you time to get your lifts up, which are lacking, to say the least.
42lbs in 6 weeks is absurd, especially considering that the most muscle mass you can hope to gain in a month is around 5lbs...

yeah, during my year long cut i lost allot of muscle because i was dieting on 1400 cals a day, and doing 1k worth of cardio with high protien almost no carbs and no fats, so my test levels went down and i was weak. that was about a year ago.

Just my opinion but I would finish your cycle, just change it to a cutting diet. The cycle will help prevent muscle loss while you diet back down.

Bonaparte is 100% correct. Your lifts are ridiculously bad now. Before I can't even comprehend how someone can be that weak. You obviously have no clue what your bf% is except that you're fat, and I'm going to go ahead and say you put on more than 30lbs of fat given that you are prone to obesity and rebounding from a an extremely restrictive diet and gaining 40lbs in 6 weeks is not reasonable.

I think you should start taking the adex now to lose some of the water and bloat and start a cutting diet. Finish your cycle. Get some Nolva or Clomid for you pct.

atm i am at 16% body fat, i am still majority lean, have a bit more fat in my mid section now, but overall i didnt gain as much fat as you would think, and i didnt gain it in 6 weeks, 4 weeks before my cycle i started to bulk up, then once i started to take prop, i was and (am) doing mma 3 days a week, with 5 day split in the gym.

@ kpin, yeah i am starting to cut now, i have about four weeks left of prop so i can shed down some bf in that time

You are joking about those weights right?

Why did you not build a natty base first?

no not joking about the weights, like i said boys i was overweight, i cut and cut and cut, lost allot of muscle, so in essence i have never bulked up, apart from now, with test P.

first hand experience with what is being said above; I just came off cycle 2 weeks ago and started cutting. Im down to 232lbs from 250..... BAD BAD BAD!!!! I should have asked for advise before cutting and changing my diet right off cycle. To correct/maintain I will be changing my food intake (increase) until AFTER PCT is completed. Clean food , good food, whole grains, lean cuts of meat, fish beans

it's amazing isn't it.... two weeks out you lose 10lbs of water, if at that point you don't eat like a mad man you lose another 10lbs of muscle...
