    Injection Help!

    Hi, iam on my 6th week (first cycle) of test e 2 shots weekly.I use a 23g 1in needle and inject in my glutes.Recently injections have been much more painful,Should I of alternated my injection muscles between both glutes and quads or do you only usally inject in the same muscle each time.Also could Scar tissue be explained.

    You should be fine pinning only glutes for a long estered test cycle, but if there's discomfort then certainly start utilizing other injection sites.

    you altering glutes? should have no scar tissue prbs with 2 shots a wk.

    Another contributing factor may be that you are not penetrating deeply into the muscle, this will contribute to the problem.

    As said if you are experiencing the pain start hitting quads just make sure to read up on where to inject so you are centered in the muscle.

    Next time around assuming you are rotating right to left cheek also try hitting in a different spot each time, always in the upper outer quadrant of course, but instead of hitting in the dead center of the upper outer quadrant, one time go 1/2-3/4" inward the next time go 1/2-3/4" outward this way the shots will be an inch to an inch and a half apart so it will be 2 full weeks before you hit the same spot again.

    ahh ok should i be standing up or lying on dwn when injecting in glutes ?

    I always rotate injection sites regardless of ester.
    Delts, pecs, lats, ventro glute, quads.
