Fat loss has nothing to do with test/deca and everything to do with diet and cardio. You can gain fat on this cycle if you're diet is incorrect and you dont do any cardio.

One has nothing to do with the other.

My cardio is 30 mins a day 5 days a week plus an active job and low fat diet so i should be ok, i just thought it had a certain element of fat burning properties thats all.
Cheers guys.

well I wil tell you that for me the T gave me the desire to work out. May not directly burn fat but will help you stay the course

Steroids do help to inhibit fat gain, but do nothing to actually help you burn the fat you already have... That all comes down to diet and cardio, as was said already above.

Actually Testosterone DOES help burn fat. Hold on for study...

http://www.steroid.com/Testosterone-Enanthate.php
Subjects dosed with higher doses of testosterone lost significantly higher levels of fat than men on lower doses while on a controlled diet and workout regimen. This correlation between dose and fat loss suggests that testosterone DOES have certain fat-burning properties.
Bottom line: changing nothing in your diet or workout routine and adding test will result in some type of muscle gain and fat loss. Now it WILL NOT be ideal nor do i suggest just dosing test for the fun of it. But plenty of men undergo trt and don't workout or change their diet. These men usually develop gains in lbm and reduction in fat. Not at the level BB strive for but there is an effect nonetheless.

I lost a considerable amount of fat and gained a little LBM during my first cycle. However, I was on a closely monitored diet, BF% checked weekly, and I was doing 40 to 50 min of intense cardio - Heart rate between 155-160 BPM 5 days a week. I don't and neither does my nutritionist believe in a low fat diet. I used carb cycling to achieve my goals. In reading the studies regarding hormones and fat loss, I feel the relatively low does of Test, 300mg PW, helped me drop fat while maintaining my LBM. I feel without the Test I would have lost considerable LBM along with fat. I do feel very strongly in a well designed diet and cardio routine to match your goals and it should be adjusted to meet your results. I have found good info in the DIET forum and I would, if I were you, post your diet there and have it evaluated.

I always lose fat on test. Maybe it's the test directly, maybe not. I always add calories on cycle as well. As long as you're diet is ok you should lose some BF...I notice it the most in my lower abs.

Well i have around 14% bf at the moment and just picked up on cardio again so i can shed fat no problem, i just didn't want to loose too much and have to adjust my diet loads.

More or less all diet related not the compound.

Diet related and I imagine, just conjecture here, that the higher muscle retention with activity tips the scales ever so slightly toward greater resting metabolic rate.
