First Cycle in 10 years; made some mistakes
I was lifting from age 16 to 28. Never for shows, just to look good and of course so I could say "I bench ***lbs" when a girl would come up to feel my arm! Then I discovered the joys of golfing. That was the end of lifting for me. I would still go to the gym 20 or 30 times a year to keep some of the muscle I spent so many years making, but never got serious. After 8 years, I looked like a golfer! So, I began to diet and lift. This January I decided to do my 5th cycle. My last cycle was at the age of 28: 400mg Deca , 50mg dBol and 600mg Test. 4 cycles I never had a side effect other than bloating and acne.
Flash forward to 4 weeks ago. I decided to do 300mg Deca, 500mg Test E. Well needless to say I was not 28 anymore and I should have treated it like a first cycle, not a 5th. By week 2 I started to have a very week erection and the next day a sore nipple (no acne, minor bloating). I had Arimidex on hand so started .5mg EOD, but due to the erection I assumed this was a prolactin issue. I had some Prami sent overnight and started .25mg ED. By the 4th night everything was much better. I dropped the Deca and dropped my Test to 400mg every week. We will see how the cycle finishes up. I am up 10 lbs after 4 weeks.
My lesson learned; what happened in you 20's might not happen in your 30's!

your recpetors will be like sponges so a little goes a long way.. also with the higher BF (i am assuming this) you are more likely to suffer from estrogen related sides.. good thing it was nothing permanent though. good luck with your cycle

Thats interesting maybe just running one compound and see how the body reacts again then look at running more in other cycles.

just run one compound...500mg of test and an oral to kick start is plenty. More doesnt always = better. you might gain 3-4lbs more adding deca but you will be shut down longer so it could be harder to recover and you will prob loose more of your gains.
500mg test weeks 1-12
40mg dbol week 1-4
pct weeks 16-19
keep nolva or arimidex on hand in case of sides like gyno and bloat.

That does bring up a question I had. When I did my first cycle in 97, everybody around my local gym was running 8 to 10 weeks. Now almost everybody runs 12 weeks, which is what I planned. Do gains really keep going into the 12th week with only 500mg? Some of the crazies (1 gram and up) would run 16 weeks and start stepping up at week 8. Amazing how much more knowledge is out here now.
Yes, I was going to take dbol first 4 weeks, but my supplier sent anadrol . I know I could have used it, but had never taking it before. So I just skipped it.

Well in my experience 12-14 weeks is just about the perfect time because it is just long enouph to make good gains and just short enouph to get out and recover. Every one is diffrent but anything past 16 weeks will become very hard to recover from and its not worth the extra money because gains really slow down after week 12.
I found that 10 weeks is almost to soon to come off because test kicks in around week 5-6 and my most solid gains came weeks 6-10...another couple weeks would have been nice because I was still making good gains.
I think will agree 10-14 weeks is about what you want to keep it at.

If you are holding alot of fat?? you might want to try var as a kick start...it will cost you a little more but with a clean diet it will help you shed a few lbs, and you will hold less bloat.
