hair line and rogain?

When i was younger and did dbol and test cycles for way too long, my hairline receded a little after the cycle. Here is my question, currently doing a test and tren cycle and kicked it off with 4 weeks of dbol. my hair hasnt changed at all. but i bought some rogain just in case i noticed it receding. but when reading the directions for the rogain, it said it does not work and is not made for the hairline. Just for male pattern baldness. and it wont work on the hairline. my hair is thick and its just my hairline i am concerned about. does anyone have any experience or know if indeed it will work for the hairline? on the rogain directions it showed just the back or top of a guys head to where it should be applied and again said it doesnt work on the hairline
