How do you break open amps???

Just got my sus250 amps in today and wondering how the heck to pop these open without breaking them, any tips or advice guys would be much appreciated.

For beginners... you may want to hold each end with napkins or paper towels to prevent cutting yourself, although I have never cut myself without napkins. Hold as much of each end as you can with each thumb and index finger. Your thumbs should be touching each other. Then carefully but strongly, and quickly just pop/break it. They are made to be popped off like that. You should find it quite easy and you'll get the hang of it. I hope you understood my directions lol. Its hard to describe it without showing someone. There might be a video on youtube showing how to do it. I'd look around on the internet if you're still unsure.

Obviously make sure all the liquid is in the base, and only snap the top so you don't spill any oil from tipping it. In other words... make sure that the amp is vertical when you pop the top off.

Put the cap over the head of the ampule and break it...makes a clean break

**Edit** in the link I gave she uses the package the alcohol wipe comes in..I mean there are countless of ways to do it, but the pen cap makes it easy

Score the neck with a nail file and snap off.

Go to hardware store. Buy a small sharp file. Lightly score neck of amp. Get cloth or rag and snap neck.
