25 years old and testosterone levels have crashed suddenly??
Ok so title says it all really.
I've taken aas in the past (last time was about a year ago) and i'm well aware i started too young but i was 23 when i did my first shot and have never had any side affects or problems like this before (mainly because of how limited my cycles were and how good my pct always is).
Anyway, i've not touched any juice for probably a year now and in between then and a few weeks ago was feeling totally normal. I went into a deep depression last month after some personal problems and i fear that has something to do with it. Since then i'm experiencing fatigue, no sex drive at all, dry skin, weight loss and all these are tell tale signs of low test.
My question is aside from going to the docs (which i've already done), would the use of HCG and Clomid be worth a shot to boost test levels possibly? I'm being referred to an endo but from people i've spoke to i've been told endo's would never recommend using hcg or endorse it because of the cost. Apparently they much prefer to get you on hormone replacement therapy asap. If hcg could work then i would much rather buy it myself than have an endo put me on hormone replacement therapy (that is worst case scenario for me).
I understand that i definitely need to speak to a specialist which i will do, but i'm wondering if anyone else on here has every experienced a sudden crash for reasons not necessarily related to a cycle? And if so did you use hcg / clomid?

I think you should be totally up front with the endo about your concerns, I see mine monday and I'm gonna talk to him about HCG as well. If money doesn't prohibit get a 2nd opinion from another endo if you aren't satisfied. Meanwhile, do what you're doing, researching and asking questions. Best wishes w06.

Also, if you have insurance the doc shouldn't care about cost...my doc writes scripts that cost an arm and a leg...if i didn't have good insurance.

mental issues ( such as depression ) are linked to loss of sex drive, i had this once but natuarly came back to normal ( not using aas at the time)

First of all, you shouldn't take anything unless you have blood work to prove that you have low test. Those symptoms can be linked to many other illnesses and not necessarily low testosterone . Second, HCG for low test isn't necessarily a good idea. You'll produce more while on it, but you can't take it forever and when you stop, you'll be back in the same place. I wouldn't worry too much about a doctor putting you on TRT. If you need it, they will give it to you.

Cheers guys i'm definitely waiting for the blood work to come back first and of course speaking to the endo. I don't know why TRT scares me so much, maybe it's just the realisation that i have to rely on a drug for the rest of my life to function normally.
I've been reading into post traumatic stress disorder and believe that may be the route of my problems, though until i speak to the specialist it's just speculation. I know this forum is for advice on steroids but to be fair the people on here are helpful even if your query is not directly related to them so i appreciate that guys.
